Job Description:

Job Purpose 

Provide first level SAP HR support to CSPC relevant business units.

Job Dimensions 

• Number of registered SAP Users: more than 1500.
• Number of changes: this varies annually but can be as high as 100.
• Complexity of changes: includes simple to complex.

Principal Accountabilities 

1. Provide first level support for problems and queries raised by CSPC end-users. In the case of problems escalated to second level support, ensure proper coordination with the second level SAP support to ensure end-to-end resolution of the problem.
2. In the case of enhancement requests – engage with the business to understand the requirements, develop detail functional specifications and develop/implement the request. In cases where the request is escalated to second line support, coordinate with the second line support consultant to ensure end-to-end development and implementation of the change request.
3. In the case of Change Requests:
• Understand and analyse the business requirement. This will call for extensive engagement with a wide range of SAP Key Users, Focal Points and Process Owners. Ensure that the CR takes the overall CSPC focus and not limited to a specific departmental focus. Advice Business on impact across the various departments.
•Work with relevant SAP support staff to ensure that SAP integration aspects are addressed.
• Help the Change Requestor get the change approved by the Change Panel
• Once the change is approved, develop a project plan and implement the change – functional and technical design, UAT, training, documentation.
4. To be the backup of other SAP module support, assist L1 to resolve SR, Enhancement and Change Requests.
5. Coordinate the Nanhai SAP Support team and business key users to manage documentations in compliance with the company’s policy.
6. Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Educational background:
• University education at degree level, preferred Computer Science or Human Resource education background.
2. Work experience:
• Sound understanding of the associated business process on HR Recruiting, manpower planning , transfer/promotion/demotion, payroll, personnel development and etc.
• 3+ year working experience in SAP HR support.
• Solid experience in Working Hours Management System.
3. Language proficiency:
• Effective communication skills – fluent in both spoken and written English.
